The Milwaukee Health Care Partnership is a remarkable collaboration of health care providers, government agencies and community organizations working to increase access, coverage, and care coordination in health care. Understanding that their individual efforts alone were not enough to create the meaningful change that’s needed, the Partnership was launched in 2007. We’ve helped the Partnership develop a growing system of communication tools, including this website.
When something forward-thinking and good for the community is in the works, it’s almost certain that Fix Development’s Juli Kauffman is involved. We thoroughly enjoyed developing this website in advance of the grand opening of Fix Development’s super-green, super cool Clock Shadow Building. We also helped to get the word out with a PR awareness campaign and developed collateral and signage materials for the grand opening event. We can’t wait to see what Fix does next!

When community food advocate Martha Davis Kipcak approached us to develop a website to help introduce Martha’s Pimento Cheese we were thrilled. The most delicious photo shoot ever had us happily devouring MPC every which way. Check out the Retailers section of the website to find out where you can pick some up in your neck of the woods. We’re partial to the jalapeño option which has just enough kick to warm you up on a cold day.
Since 2004 we’ve been helping Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin tell the story of their work to reduce hunger throughout much of our state. To celebrate their 30th year, we focused on how it all started with a bushel of apples back in 1982. Supporting photos were shot on location at Patterson’s Orchard, a long-time food donor to FAEW. It was a perfect way to spend a crisp autumn day (plus we got to stock up on cider and caramel corn).
Grateful Plate is Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s popular gala event that takes place every June at the Wisconsin Club.
Community Shares of Greater Milwaukee (CSGM) coordinates workplace giving campaigns for organizations that are committed to social justice, the environment and animal welfare. This website, developed in partnership with the Spin Group, was designed to make it easy for workplace decision-makers to get started with a giving campaign. Studies show that people typically donate five times more when their giving is automated through their workplace, and CSGM provides valuable access to donors that their member organizations, many of them quite small, would have difficulty reaching on their own.
The good folks at Progressive Community Health Centers are an inspiring bunch, providing health care to Milwaukee’s un- and under-insured through two clinics, the Lisbon Avenue Health Center and the Hillside Family Health Center. Our first venture together was to develop a new name and identity (they were the Westside Health Care Association) more closely aligned with who they are. We followed that up by developing signage, print collateral and a website, and most recently we worked together to develop a social media strategy.
Community Advocates serves Milwaukee’s vulnerable residents with a fast-growing range of programs and services. What started in 1976 as a mission to help low-income residents meet their basic needs has today expanded to include behavioral health, domestic violence and over sixty different programs. As one of the few remaining agencies that welcomes walk-in clients five days a week, Community Advocates is doing all it can toward “Making it Better Now,” the theme of this annual report we created together in 2010.
Lead IT was a quarterly print magazine in the information technology field for a number of years. In 2012 they made the leap to online-distribution-only with this website. We worked together with Lead IT staff to create a site that is easy to manage.
